Gerald Nathan John Groters

Gerald Groters, age 64, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Gerald L. and Dorothy Groters. He will be remembered by his siblings Donald (Sarah) Groters, Thomas (Marie) Groters, Maryann (Paul) Hamilton, Dorothy (David) Zandstra, Christine Groters (Albert Illingworth); and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jerry worked at Atlas Molded Products in Byron Center for 35 years as a supervisor. He also worked part-time at Meijer on Clyde Park in the receiving department for several years. He enjoyed working and considered everyone at work his second family. Jerry enjoyed casino trips, family dinners and events, and his nieces, nephews, and great-nephews. He loved the Detroit Lions (he was a huge fan of Matthew Stafford) and MSU football.

His family would like to thank the excellent staff at U of M Health West Cancer Center and Hospital for their care and compassion during his cancer battle.
