Joyce Arlene Zaagman, age 86, went to be with her Lord Thursday, April 24, 2025. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Zaagman; parents George and Margaret Van Proyen; sister, Linda Kort, and brother, Paul. She is survived by her daughters Marsha Butrico and Lorna Zaagman; grandson, Henry; sisters Janet Hyslop and Dorothy (Donald) Huizinga; along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation with friends and relatives will take place from 2-4 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2025 at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th Street, Byron Center, MI 49315. A celebration of Joyce’s life will commence 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center. In honor of Joyce and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kenya Hope.
