Bob was a loving father and grandfather, always wanting to help with projects. He was the quintessential handyman with the gift of service, but above all, he was a man of God. Never faltering in his faith, Bob made sure his family worshiped together every week in church and at the family table. Bob worked for several excavating companies, but for most of his career, he owned his own excavating and snowplowing business. When not working, he enjoyed traveling with Joanne in their motorhome, spending many winters in Florida and other parts of the south, doing mission work, and making new friends in their travels. Always the do-it-yourself-er, spending many hours working for his church and for his family, Bob's legacy will live on.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center (2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, Michigan 49315).
