Ronald Harold Mossel

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Winona; their children Kimberly Mossel and Jeff (Jenny) Mossel; grandchildren Hunter, Addison, Brenna; sisters-in-law Sharon Mossel, Sheila Jaworowski; brother-in-law, Patrick Dunne; and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Mossel.

Ron was active at South United Methodist Church for many years, serving as a certified lay speaker, as an officer on church committees. He and his brother, Jim, owned and operated Mossel’s Tax Preparation and Bookkeeping in Wyoming, MI. He was a fitness enthusiast running in races and endurance bike races and shared that love with his children and grandchildren. He and Winona enjoyed RVing around the country visiting their children and historical sites. Ron loved being out in the yard, landscaping, gardening and tending many bird feeders.

A celebration of life service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 p.m. until service time.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Brook of Big Rapids for their loving care, and Big Rapids Hospice for their support in his time of need.
