Steven William Decker

Steve was preceded in death by his wife and love of his life, Katherine; son, Phil Decker; parents Yvonne and Morris Decker; and brother, Dan Decker.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Rebecca Cooper and Jennifer (Casey) Potter; granddaughters Madi, Caidence, Logan, Izzy; grandsons Damon, Graham, and Everett; several brothers and sisters; and nieces and nephews.

In the most recent months since his wife’s death, his grandchildren have been his absolute joy and what has kept him going on the best and hardest of days.

Steve was a longtime car guy. He loved working on them - something he did as a profession. He also enjoyed working in his yard and keeping a garden at times. His daughters have fond memories of him cooking big breakfasts on the weekends, taking Rebecca to Red Lobster for good grades and Jenny to Applebee’s for shakes. He was always one to jump in and do the dishes or laundry around the house; he loved taking care of his family. He took such good care of Kathy, his wife.

Steve was the biggest teddy bear and was just a big softie. He is so incredibly loved by his family and will be fiercely missed.
