Timothy P. Dennis

Timothy P. Dennis, age 81, went to be with his Lord Monday, December 26, 2022. Timothy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy “Dottie”; parents Horton and Alice Dennis; sister-in-law, Patricia and brother-in-law, Gordon Waalkes; sister, Maureen Gaynor and brother-in-law, Kenneth Gaynor; brother-in-law, Peter Sowle; sister, Mary Schultz; sister-in-law, Jeannie Dennis.

He will be remembered by his significant other, Michelle Caldwell; Michelle's children Matthew Caldwell, Danielle and Matthew Norris, Owen and Reagan Norris; Tim's siblings Jeanine Sowle of Leavenworth, KS, Patrick Dennis of Lake of the Woods, VA, Michael (Judy) Dennis of Phoenix, AZ, Paul (Barbara) Dennis of Newaygo, MI; brother-in-law, Thomas Schultz of Middleville, MI; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Tim was a successful independent business owner in the produce packaging market and eventually owned a plastics manufacturing firm. Tim loved all sports and especially Notre Dame football; he attended many games in South Bend.

Tim was a very faith-filled individual and lived his life in a very honorable way, leading by example of honesty and compassion. Everyone who knew Tim would anticipate his closing remark, "God bless and keep the faith."

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to Holy Family Catholic Parish in Caledonia.

Visitation with friends and relatives will take place from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315. Funeral Mass will commence 11 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Parish, 9669 Kraft Ave SE, Caledonia, MI 49316, with visitation one hour prior.
