AVIS DE DÉCÈS
Wayne Patrick Jackson
12 février 1941 – 17 novembre 2020
Wayne Patrick Jackson passed away November 17, 2020 at the age of 79. He was a victim of Covid-19. He was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Emma Ann Jackson; wife of 54 years, Mary Sue Bohlinger Jackson; son, Patrick Daniel Jackson; and nephew, Mark Wayne Jackson. They brought three children into the world - Patrick Daniel Jackson, Felicia Jackson (Keith) Steenwyk, and Thomas Wayne Jackson. Wayne was blessed with six grandchildren Cheri Jackson (Charles) Molina, Patrick Jackson, Jackson Steenwyk, Remington Steenwyk, Monique Jackson, and Danielle Jackson. His most recent blessing was the birth of his first great-grandson, Chase Molina. Wayne is also survived by his loving brother, William Jackson; his adoring son-in-law, Keith Steenwyk; daughter-in-law, Adina Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
Wayne was an avid workout buff, lifting every other day, walking and running on his off days. He retained an unparalleled level of physical health. His friends at Cali Fitness will sorely miss his humor and loyalty. He was well traveled - touring Africa, Australia, the Netherlands, Nova Scotia, Europe, South America, and the United States. He never missed an opportunity to help a stranger or a friend, and his altruistic behavior will be truly missed! He spent 47 years as a State Farm Insurance agent in Saginaw Township, and with his alluring personality, his career never dwindled. His family viewed their father/grandfather as an “immortal legend.” Wayne will be greatly missed.
Funeral arrangements will be determined at a later date due to quarantined family members and Covid-19 restrictions. The family wishes all to stay healthy! God bless.
Memories and messages for Wayne’s family may be left in their online guestbook at www.cookcaresbyron.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, 9669 Kraft Ave. SE, Caledonia, MI 49316.

I am sorry for your loss. I met Wayne several years ago at the Cali Fitness gym. Though I haven't seen him in a while, I recall how nice and fun he was to visit with. He always had a smile and a kind word to share. I was so sad to learn of his passing. Please know your family and friends are in my prayers. He truly was a special soul.

Wayne was a good friend of mine and many, many other people. He was a kind man with great integrity and always a had kind word to share. I always enjoyed our conversations and our exchange of life stories. In this day and age he is truly a man to admire. His family must be so proud to have shared life with him; I know Wayne was a blessing in my life. I miss him greatly and am very hopeful I will see him again. In closing, real greatness stems from how you live your life and the difference you make along the way; Wayne filled the shoes of greatness completely. I already miss you my friend as will so many others.

Wayne and I were together for the last three years. We had many things in common and enjoyed each others company. He was a loving and caring guy and very special. I will miss him and his phone calls when we were not together.

Wayne was a friend. Met him years ago at Cali Fitness. My son Cole and I would go out with Wayne to eat. several times. His personality was infectious and he was the social butterfly at the gym. He was a gentleman and a man of character. I could only strive to be more like him. We will miss you my friend. God bless you and your family. We will meet again.

I know Aunt MarySue was there to greet Uncle Pat as he entered the gates of Heaven. His time came too soon, just like Aunt MarySue. I know you are happy to be together again, but you will truly be missed here. I see how much everyone really knew Uncle Pat, he always had a smile and several stories to enlighten the crowd. He was so fit and young at heart, such and interesting and joyful person. I appreciate that you brought me to church with your family and helped to instill an interest that kept me coming back for more. Tom, Felicia and family, know that your parents are together and have been graced to live in Heaven. You are in our thoughts and prayers as you try to reconcile your loss. Love always. Kim and family

When Wayne and I first met , our offices were just down the hall from each other though with different companies. It didn't take long and we became friends. Shortly he introduced me to State Farm of which I became an agent like Wayne . For years we hunted , fished together and traveled together on company sponsored trips all over the world. Wayne had an infectious personality and a great sense of humor. He has a wonderful family and to say he was very proud of all. Wayne will be sadly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to be touched by his friendship . Rest in peace my brother and I know you are sitting at the right hand of God, hand in hand with your beautiful MarySue.

When Wayne and Mary Sue moved into the neighborhood we were blessed with 2 very fine people . Wayne always had a smile on his face and a story to tell and Mary Sue quickly gave her time and talents to the Caledonia Women’s Club. They are sadly missed. We still have their son, Tom, and daughter, Felicia , and son in law, Keith as a reminder of what great people they were.

Dear Felicia & Keith Steenwyk ,Thomas Jackson and Family, My Sincere Condolences , and our Sorrow goes out to you all. I remember your moms passing, it was so very shocking as well. I sang with her in the choir. With Wayne, it was friendship right off the bat. He took me places and we danced, talk our heads off, he was a great goofy man. Bob and I will miss him a great deal. He sat with us in church some weeks ago and he was wanting to take us for breakfast at Oscar's Scotts, but we couldn't go. I wished we had gone now. I Can't believe that he's gone.😪
