Passed away suddenly, surrounded by his family at Grand River Hospital, on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the age of 75.
Predeceased by Jim and Jessie Elliot. Bert is survived by and will always be missed by his wife Helen Robson, his children, Kelly (Bill) Tryon, Denyse (Mike) Hodge-Darke, his grandchildren Amanda, Craig, Kassandra, Jocelyn, and great-grandchildren Joshua and Nathan. He will also be lovingly remembered by his in-laws William and Eileen Robson, Kevin (Jen), Calum (Ashley), nieces and nephews Quinton, Kaylee, Brayden, Taylor, Mackynzie and many other family and friends.
Many thanks to family friend Robert Galliver and the Grand River Hospital staff on the 5th floor stroke unit for their compassionate care.
Family and friends are invited to Visitation at the T. Little Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 223 Main Street, Cambridge, (519-623-1290) on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 12 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations in lieu of flowers to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be greatly appreciated.
