Dear father of Bonny Tousignant (Ken) and Caroline Rech.

Cherished Opa of John Kevin Taylor, Morgan Gonci (Heather) and their children Liam Parry and Hayden Gonci, Carmen Williams and her children Jade, Elijah and Joseph and Melissa Tousignant. Survived by his sister Hilda Haag and her husband Peter.

Predeceased by his son Armand John Rech and his mother Margret.

He was born in Diamandheim, Galizia, Poland and came to Canada in 1949. He was a volunteer with CODA and was a member of the Optimist Club. Alfred was retired from Ford Motor Company where he spent many years in Quality Control. An airplane enthusiast, Alfred spent time and applied his skills to plane restoration at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.

Funeral Services will be held from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church,63 Grand Avenue North, Cambridge on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 11a.m. with Pastor Stephen Weber officiating.

Interment will follow at Mount View Cemetery.
