Anne Tate McMahon

Beloved Mother to Lynn O’Hare (McMahon), Mother in law to Iain O’Hare and “Nana” to Carson O'Hare and Evan O’Hare. Anne passed away gently while holding her daughter’s hand on March 5, 2025, after a short illness. She was 93.

Anne was born in Scotland and moved to Canada to start a new life with her husband Jim. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters and husband’s family and all the beautiful nieces and nephews she had. She loved hosting parties where many gathered to fill her home with love and laughter. Anne was married for 52 years to her soulmate, Jim, who preceded her in death in 2005 . She was a kind and loving mother to her daughter Lynn. Known as "Nana" to Carson and Evan, she loved spending time with her grandkids on exciting outings to the theatre and treating them to lunch at her favorite restaurant Mandarin, sharing her love of arts and crafts and generally spoiling them rotten. She also loved her 4 legged grandchildren with all her heart and looked forward to getting lots of love from them at every visit.

Memorial service will be held at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Friday, March 21st, 2025. Service will take place at 1pm followed by reception to celebrate Anne’s life sharing memories and to raise a glass in her honour.
