Antonietta Grasso

In her home surrounded by her family, Antonietta passed away peacefully on February 28 at the age of 85. After suffering a stroke, she fought courageously for four months. Cherished wife of 60 years to Ippazio. Loving mother to Cosmo (Joanne), Moss, Rose (George) Warner and Dario (Patrizia). Forever a treasured Nonna to Jesse, Nikki, Adam, Sara, Sebastian, Joshua and Anton. Also missed by many nieces, nephews and friends living in B.C., Brazil and Italy. She loved her family fiercely and worked hard every day of her life for her family. Her passion for love, life, family, and friends will live on in all of us. A special thank you to Moss, for all the love and care given to mamma. Because of you, she was able to be at home surrounded by all of us that loved her. We will be forever grateful to Moss. Family will receive friends at T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519 623 1290) on Thursday, March 3, 2016 for visitation from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Prayers will be said at 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, 210 South Street, Cambridge the following day at 11am. Burial to follow at Mount View Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, Hamilton.
