She was the devoted and loving wife of over 50 years to Robert “Bob” Wyatt. She will be deeply missed by her sister Arlene, and her cherished nieces and nephews: Lisanne (Bill) Lloyd, Susan (Dave Cozzens) Heystee, Bob (Chrissy Laite) Matthew, as well as her great-nieces Chelsey (Brittany), and their daughter Waverley, and her great-nephews Steven, Kristopher, and Tavis. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, James “Jim” Matthew.
She lived a full and adventurous life and had a deep love for travel, with special memories made in Egypt and New Zealand. Alongside Bob, she embraced the freedom of the open road in their motorhome, enjoying road trips, camping, and down south. Some of her happiest times were spent boating in British Columbia and camping on the beautiful BC islands. Over the years, she made her home in North Vancouver, British Columbia, London, Ontario, and Cambridge, Ontario, gathering friends and memories wherever she went.
A true fighter, she was a cancer survivor who bravely overcame leukemia. Family meant everything to her, and she took great joy in attending her great-nephews’ hockey games and spending quality time with the people she loved most.
She was proud of her career as the secretary to the president of Sifton Corporation, a role she held with dedication and grace.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and compassionate staff of the Emergency Department and B2-100 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care and kindness.
Cremation has taken place. As per Beverley’s wishes, there will be no services.
Fond memories and donations in her memory may be made to the Cambridge Food Bank or the Cambridge & District Humane Society.
