Cheryl Elizabeth. Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Sunday September 15, 2013 in her 55th year. Beloved mother of David , Sara, and Timmy, all of Cambridge. Loving sister of Maxine McKee of Ohio, Helen Ford of Cambridge, Donna Bennett (Murray) of Cambridge, and Dorothy King (John) of Newfoundland. Also survived by her sister-in-law Wendy Kitchen and brother-in-law Joe Delorenzis and best friend Lynn Bartlett (Dave). Predeceased by her parents Max and Vera Kitchen, her husband Dennis Byrne, brother Reid Kitchen and her sister Peta Delorenzis. Cheryl was born in Bell Island Newfoundland on December 25, 1958. She was employed with Shoppers Drug Mart for 24 years, a job she loved. Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at this time. As expressions of sympathy donation to Grand River Hospital Cancer Centre or Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation (Medical Day Care) would be appreciated by the family.
