He is reunited with his beloved wife, Joan (2020), and his daughter, Susan Warr (nee Cummings) (2022).
Donald was a proud and adored Poppy to Jennifer Cummings (Kevin Joslin). He will be deeply missed by his great-grandchildren: Dennis Cummings (Rebecca Workentin), Karlee (Sawyer) Ashford; his great-great-grandchildren Levi and Wren Cummings and Kinsley Ashford and by his son-in-law David (Anne) Cummings.
He was predeceased by his mother, Eunice Askew (nee Blackwood), and his sister Eleanor (Eddie) Sherman. Donald will be forever remembered by his extended family and his large circle of friends.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with a period of visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m.
