Survived by children, Danny, David, Kimberly, John (Tracy) and Denise Snider (Jeff). Grandmother to Ted, Tanya, Charlene, Christine, Gerard, Kayla (Gord), Dustin, Joe, Patti (Daryl Sharpe), Melissa (Steve Nelson), Jesse (Megan), Audrey, Kimmie, JD (Steve), Blake, Shane and Matthew (Kayla). Predeceased by daughter, Patricia Lynn and son, Michael Thomas.
Dorothy was an avid reader and huge fan of Danielle Steele. She loved her VHS collection which included John Wayne, old classic musicals, Westerns, and war movies.

In accordance, with Dorothy's wishes cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region or Canadian Cancer Society.
