I remember Elaine and was so sad to hear this. I was actually looking up Jim Ross's obituary to write Elaine a note and had no idea she had entered glory.

As a member of the Stephen Olford Board of Olford Ministries International, I had the privilege of working with and praying with Jim many times.  He was a sweet, soft spoken and kind man committed to the Lord's work.

I had a technology company that is now Clinical Connect out of Hamilton Health Sciences and the cSWA Local Health Network and took some time to go see Jim at Grand Valley Fortifiers.  What a great operation.  I will miss both of them and look forward to seeing them in glory.  Jeff Lamb, Jackson, MS

What s great day for Elaine as she closed her eyes on earth and opened them in heaven to see her Lord. Heaven has gained an angel. What a wonderful lady she was. 
I first met her at bible study. The wisdom she had . Every time I would see her she'd give me her smile, hug and we'd have a little chat .

All my memories of her are of a gracious Christian lady who spoke with wisdom, as you said at the funeral. I so admired her sense of colour and style. I will miss my dear friend, prayer partner, and mentor until we meet again. "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those who love Him." And love Him she did, with all her heart. Dear Jim & family I am sitting in the very chair that Elaine has sat in every time she came to my house to lead our bible study for the last 8 or so years. She truly was a woman of sincere FAITH and has taught me so much of where she is right now! Sometimes I would pull over and put my head on the steering wheel and just pray to give thanks for Elaine's knowledge, guidance and understanding of HIS WORD that day.  She has helped me be the Christian I am today. Her gentle voice, hugs and smile will be forever in my heart and mind. Her teachings have taught me so much about HEAVEN. I know now she is with our Nicole, up in that GLORIOUS HEAVEN she so fondly talked about with our group...give our Nicole a BIG HUG & KISS for us Elaine...I know you will. Thank you for touching my heart/life so deeply...I will miss you so much and can't wait to be with you in ETERNITY! We have been blessed so many times in the past 20 plus years that we have known Jim and Elaine.  So many times they have entertained us at their home, and after Art had finished his cancer treatment,(10 years ago) they offered their cottage as retreat, for us and we spent a glorious "quiet  time" that helped with our healing and on many other occasions gave us "try this med" and they all worked!
