Elizabeth Adair Scott

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our “Prairie Princess” at St. Andrews Terrace, Cambridge. She will be deeply missed, always remembered and loved by her children Frances of Cambridge and Robert (Patricia) of Newmarket. Her daughters-in-law Janice, Jean and Shelley. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander (1989), her sons William (1977) and Adair (2006), three brothers, two sisters and sister in law Phyllis Issac. Adored “Nan” of Lesley Schuurs(John), Lorie Donelle(Rich), David(Linda), Jeffrey(Judi), Gary, Kristen Hrbak(Dean), Christine Gobbi(Paul), and James(Julie). Special Nana to seventeen Great Grandchildren. Beloved Aunt to David and Rick Issac and Jack Davidson. Mom/Nana was a caregiver to all of us and an accomplished gardener, knitter, needle pointer, baker, seamstress, furniture refinisher and entrepreneur, as a hairdresser and part owner of Fran’s Mastectomy Boutique. Thanks to the Staff of St. Andrews Terrace for the exceptional care given to Elizabeth these past few months. A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held on Saturday, February 5th, 2011 at First United Church Cambridge commencing at 1 pm. Visitation at Coutts Funeral Home Cambridge Friday, February 4th,2011 at 7-9 p. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer Society or the Parkinson Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
