It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving father and grandfather on February 18, 2014 in his 88th year. Beloved father of Brian (Barb), Debra Gibner (Bill), Ron (Jeri). Special papa to Lisa, Cory, Tracy, Kelly. Survived by five great grandchildren and special friend Shirley Helmky. Predeceased by his wife Betty (1995), parents George and Lillian and four sisters. Bill was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 121, and Cambridge Naval Veterans Assoc. Cremation has taken place. Private services will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
