It is with great sadness that say we goodbye to our loving and courageous Mother, Nonna, Sister and Aunt Giovanna Vella (nee Mirotta) who passed away suddenly at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on January 2nd, 2013. She will join her beloved husband Francesco Vella (predeceased 1973). Giovanna will be forever be loved and missed by her children late Antonina (Vincenzo), Vincenzo (Giuseppina), Giuseppina (Calogero), Natale (Franca) and Giovanni (Nadia) as well as her grandchildren Antonella, Francesco, Luisa, Salvatore, Rosetta, Antonino, Giovanna, Roger and Francesco. Giovanna will be lovingly remembered by her brother Giuseppe and sister Maria and many nieces and nephews in Italy and Canada. She was predeceased by brothers Domenico, Angelo, Antonino and Salvatore and sisters Paola, Giuseppina, Antonina, Anna and Rosalia. Family and friends will be received at T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 223 Main Street, Cambridge 519-623-1290 Friday January 5 from 2-4 and 6-8. Prayers and Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 am at ST. AMBROSE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 210 South Street, Cambridge. Interment at Mount View Cemetery.
