

Dr. Gordon Dale Lague, 72, of Cambridge, Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 29th, at 7:30 pm. Dale was born in Whitby, Ontario to Joseph and Jean (Collins) Lague. He continued to live in Whitby while attending University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. In 1969 he graduated with honours and setup a practice in Port Perry, Ontario. In 1973 he relocated his family and practice to Brantford, Ontario. Dale was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife Claire Tinsley of 36 years, sons Robert and wife Wendy Lague, Steven Pascoe, Joseph Lague and partner Quinn Allan, Alex Lague and wife Charlotte Blackmore Dale loved helping people and strived for excellence in everything he did. He ran a dental practice in Brantford, Ontario, for 34 years, and took enormous pride and care working with every patient he spent time with. In 1996 he received his Masters from the Academy of General Dentistry in the United States. He was a member of the Brant County Dental society and Ontario Dental Association, and spent several years educating other dentists in occlusion methods and treatments. He loved sports, wine, and being the life of a party. He enjoyed movies, particularly war documentaries, and reading Stephen King and Robert Ludlum novels. He loved football, cheering for the Green Bay Packers and golf, watching a different tournament every Sunday. A special thank you to the Riverbend Place Long-term care for their loving care and support during this time.The family will be having a private service, and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the New Year.
