Born in Seoul, South Korea, Henry graduated from the Kyung Hee University with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in German language. He then went on to live and work in Germany, and eventually immigrated to Canada in 1968. Henry proudly operated the Cambridge Convenience Centre for 25 years with his wife and best friend Monica. He was an active member of the Korean Business Association and also served as the President. Henry was the President and Founder of the church now known as St. Paul Chung Parish in Kitchener, where he taught Catholic Religion classes for 7 years. He will be deeply missed, and lovingly remembered, by his wife Young Ja (Monica) Kim, his children Cindy Graham (John), Justin Kim, and Lisa Nurse (Scott), his grandchildren Emma, William, Hailey, Vanessa, and Carter, his sister Young Hee Kim and his 33 Godchildren. Henry was predeceased by his father Young Ki Kim and his mother Ye Bon Ha. The family would like to thank all the wonderful medical professionals who assisted Henry throughout the years. We are especially thankful for the exceptional care we have received at The Innisfree House Hospice.
Friends and relatives are invited to a Visitation at T. Little Funeral Home (223 Main Street, Cambridge) on Thursday, June 2nd from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
