Passed away on Wednesday August 3, 2016 in his 84th year, surrounded by his family. Loving father of Sharon Kools (Hans), of Cambridge, Gerald (Pamela) of Plattsville, also survived by 5 grandchildren Darren, Colin, Lindsay, Jimmy and Ean, and 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by 4 sisters Betty, Nancy, Minnie and Maria. Predeceased by his wife Daphne Searle, his parents William and Mildred Byrne, 3 brothers and 1 sister. The family will receive friends on Sunday August 7, 2016 from 1 P.M. until service time at 3 P.M. at Coutts Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge. Cremation to follow.
