Passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Hilltop Manor.
Joan, daughter of the late Captain John and Kate McGinnis of Simcoe County. Predeceased by brothers John Jr. and Terry McGinnis and sister Mary Cathleen Burgess of Montreal, Quebec.
During her career in nursing, she studied at Ottawa University, Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal and Children’s Hospital, Washington, D.C.
Cremation has taken place, and an inurnment will take place on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge. A reception will follow at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge.
