Joao Cordeiro Cimbron

Joao leaves behind his devoted wife of 57 years, Deolinda. He is deeply mourned by his children Delia (Darren) and Brian (Angela). Joao was a beloved Vuvu to seven grandchildren: Zachary, Joshua, Dania, Alaina, Dylan, Ethan, and Emma. He is also survived by his beloved brother Manuel (Maria dos Anjos).

Joao is now reunited with his parents Maria and Antonio; his brother Carlos (Ana Rita); and his beloved son Mario (Sandra).

Joao immigrated to Canada from his beloved Portugal 50 years ago, seeking a new life filled with opportunity, hope, and adventure. His legacy is one of hard work, dedication, and deep and enduring love for his family and friends.

Joao’s family invites all who knew him to join them in celebrating the man he was. A visitation will be held at T. Little Funeral Home, on Monday February 24th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Prayers at 7:30. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 185 Elgin Street South, Cambridge. Burial to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.

Following the burial, all are welcome to join the family for a memorial reception at the Portuguese Club of Cambridge, 870 Townline Road.
