John Robert Poole Sr.

Loving, Godly husband to Myrna May Poole (Wolfe) for the past 38 years and predeceased by Pearl Poole (Gosse), John Robert Poole Sr. passed away to be with his Lord and Saviour, Wednesday, January 12, 2011, in his 81st year. He is survived by his three children John Robert Jr. (Deborah), Linda (Ralph) and Brenda (Brian). Proud Grandpa to Christopher, Trevor (Erika), Paul (Tatsiana), Lisa (Scott), Brent, Carla and Brian and Great-Grandpa to Ryker, Kaden and Robert Kaden. John is survived by sister Violet and was predeceased by sisters Elizabeth, Evelyn, Shirley and brothers Herbert and Fred. John worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance during his working career, rising to Regional Sales Manager before his retirement. During this period he also earned his Theology degree from EPBC. John was a consummate sales individual, earning several awards during his distinguished career. Relatives and friends will be received at the Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Friday, January 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 15th at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A private interment at Preston Parklawn Cemetery will follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Calvary Pentecostal Assembly or Gideons Bible Society.
