Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Joann Rickard. Loving father of Michael Rickard, Jeff (Julie) Rickard, Tracey (Mike) Graper. Dear grandfather of Dana, Adam, Sara (Brian), Jessica, Nicole, Emily, Jacob and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Joan Wilson, brother Frank (Sheila) Rickard and sister-in-law Donna Rickard. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Ruby Rickard and brother Roland Rickard.
The Rickard family wishes to thank both the Guelph General Hospital, Cambridge Memorial - ICU/Surgical Units and Dr. Siobhan Callaghan for their care and compassion.
A Memorial Service will be held at King Street Baptist Church, 361 King Street East, Cambridge, Ontario N3H 3M7 on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Guelph General Hospital or Cambridge Memorial Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
