Passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday July 20,2012 in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Virginia Carreiro. Loving son of Maria Jose and the late Jacinto. Jose will be sadly missed by his children Carlos (Nancy), Chris (Shab), Pedro (Margie), Carla McIlwrath (Rick) and Vera Freitas (Ugor). Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandson, 4 brothers Dinarte, Luis (Goretti), Tony (Carolyn), Mario (Nancy), and his sister Paula DaSilva (Mane). Jose was born in the Azores on October 1, 1951 and has lived in Cambridge since 1980. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Sunday July 22, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9P. M. Parish Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 8:30 P. M. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose , R. C. Church 210 South St. Cambridge on Monday July 23, 2012 at 10 A. M. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
