It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beautiful daughter Kayleigh on Monday, June 6, 2022, one month shy of her 30th birthday. Kayleigh was hilarious engaging and fierce. She also struggled with mental illness and addiction.
She leaves behind her daughter Emma Parrott (7 years), who was the absolute joy and love of her life. Kayleigh has a large extended and blended family who loved her and will miss her immeasurably. Her parents Andrea Roberts and Tricia Hardy and Jim and Carol Roberts, along with her brothers Andrew and Nicholas Roberts and sister-in-law Allison Woolridge will hold for all time the beautiful essence of her spirit. Her step siblings Michael (Megan), Jace (Mel) and Natalie Ferry will miss the “friend” who became their “family”, and Connor and Eric Hardy will cherish the many memories of a shared childhood.
Aunts and Uncles Donna Rasmussen and Ian Wright, Angela and Bill Griffiths, Lori and John Thomson, Holly and Paul Guerin, Cindy and Alan Thomson and Carla Webb have watched her grow up, celebrated her achievements, and bore witness through the darker times.
Her cousins Courtney and Andrew (deceased) Thomson, Michael Thomson (Antonia), Chris (Kal) , Mackenzie and Georgia Carr-Webb will miss the chance to create more memories as young adults.
Her nieces and nephews Samantha Griffiths, Jaxon Roberts, Brooklyn Demerey, Aria Ferry and Matthew Ferry will know her through the stories of her loving family.
Kayleigh is resting at Coutts Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 13 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, June 14 at 10:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with cremation thereafter. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Sage Recovery Home or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
