I will remember Mom Halpin as being a great story-teller - Accomplished at seeing the humor in life, and always outrageously funny when sharing it.

Dear Rosemarie and Lia,
I am so heartsick that I am not able to stand by your side phsyically but know that my heart and soul will be with you over the next coming days. Your Mom touched everyone that she encountered and we all have wonderful times to relive, recall whether an occasion or story...enjoy !!!! Your Mom is at peace now looking down and proud of you both. Love and strength to your own families as they help you both heal.

Dear Lia, Rosemarie and Gordie,

I am so sorry I cannot be with you at this trying time.  Know that you are loved and though I am not there physically you are all in my thoughts and prayers.  

Lorna was a wonderful aunt to us and of course the best mother and wife.  She was so full of life and fun.  She loved to entertain and we always felt welcome.  I especially remember with fondness our shared vacations to Rawdon, Jay Peak, and especially Old Orchard Beach.  Wow what great fun we all had. 
 
We never know when God will call us home but knowing that she has joined the Halpin Clan in Heaven and is now looking over you for the rest our your days will eventually give you great comfort.

Gord, Lia, and family.  I was deeply saddened to hear that Lorna had passed away.  My thoughts and sympathies are with you during this difficult time.

To Gordon, Rosemarie and Lia,  We are sad to hear about Aunty Lorna and are thinking of you all.  It was nice to see you a few years ago.  My favourite memory of Aunty Lorna is of her quick conversation style and laugh.  Old Orchard Beach with all of you when we were kids and all the Aunties were there.  It was nice to keep up with her over the years as she kept in touch via computer and made the effort to find out how we were doing.  Mom kept us posted when she talked with you all and we were glad to hear about our family back east.  Love,  Val, Gordon, Kate and Sarah Julin.

I am so saddened by Lorna's passing.  We went to St. Willibrord's High School together and she was one of my bridesmaids.  She was a unique and interesting person who always had a funny story to tell.  My deepest sympathies to all of her family.

Gord. I would like to extend my sympathy to you on the passing of Lorna. She was a great friend to me. I have so many memories of her, you, Gerald and I going out square dancing. We also got to-gether at other activities. Sharon and Joey asked me to extend to you their sympathy too. You were always so good to Adam. Gordon, Rosemarie and Lia - It's been too long since we've last seen each other. I want to express my sincere condolences on the passing of Lorna (Wife and Mom) from my family and I.  One thing I'll always remember is how Lorna and Lala could talk at such a rapid pace.  It use to leave me dizzy.  I'm not sure how anyone could keep up in the conversation.  My wife Nadine was always amazed at how Lala could talk so fast and I always used to say, you should be in the same room with all of my dad's family.  I know her children and grandchildren were special to her and I trust you'll all have precious memories of her life with all of you.  God Bless.
