Lorne Arthur Post

Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis on Friday March 18, 2016 in his 72 year. Beloved husband of Barbara Crombie. Loving father of Steven (Laura) of Haliburton, Graham of Toronto, Shelley Post (Julian) of Newfoundland, Courtney Post of Calgary. Also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild, 3 brothers Graham (Mary), Stanley and Don (Betty). Lorne was born in Midland on August 30, and has lived in Cambridge for over 40 years. Lorne was a Chartered Professional Accountant. A student of wine, traveling to many interesting places around the world, usually where the grapes are grown. He had a love for golf, squash and skiing., and a new found love of fishing. Cremation has taken place. A private family service was held on Thursday March 24, 2016. a Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday March 26, 2016 at Savannah Golf Links, 1206 Cheese Factory Road, Cambridge from 3-5 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations to Lisaard House, Argus House or Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
