Born on January 3, 1938, in the Philippines, Luzminda dedicated over 40 years of her life to teaching at Tubod Elementary Central School. A gifted educator, she was especially known for her grace and passion in teaching Filipino folk dance—her movements as elegant as her spirit.
Luzminda was a devoted wife to her late husband of 32 years Luciano and a loving mother to her cherished sons, Aifor (Dorothy) and Aitor. She is also survived by her siblings Gloria, Loreto (Elizabeth), Sonia, Nenita, and her brother-in-law Andres Sr. She now reunites in peace with her predeceased siblings Felicito (Filipina), Aquilino (Cecilia), Edilberto (Teresita), Romeo (Almira), Alicia, and her brother-in-law Rolando.
Her warmth, kindness, and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She adored flowers, loved to travel, and found joy in simple moments with family. Always nurturing and meticulous, Luzminda took pride in her home, especially in keeping it clean, a task she genuinely enjoyed.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and inspiration in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, extended family, former students, and dear friends.
