Margaret Arlene Brown

Ken Brown has lost a wife of 53 years, Jodi and Jennifer a mother, Ezra a grandmother and Bret Tinson and Joe Shugan, a mother-in-law. Mark, Mildred, Ted and Jeannette Gorth, her brothers and their wives, along with Marjorie, Harry, Dorothy, Sharon and Karl, her sisters-in-law and their partners as well as her nieces, nephews and their children, have spent many happy moments and made lasting memories with her. Margaret’s close group of friends were a constant and important presence to her.

She was brave beyond compare, and opened her heart and home to everyone, always. She was our soul and our happiness. Our lives will never be the same. We love her with everything that we have.

We would like to express our gratitude to her doctors and the entire Oncology team at Medical Day Care (CMH) for refusing to give up on her, and who continued to do all that they could to help her through her years of treatment. A memorial service will be held in her honour at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 2 p.m.. In memory of Margaret, donations to Lisaard House would be appreciated.
