With great sadness, her family announces that she passed away peacefully at home, with family by her side on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in her 81st year. Loving mother of Carlos (Cathy), Mary (Bill), Victoria, Albert (Vera) and Rosemary (Dinis). Cherished grandmother to Crystal (Jorge), Stephanie (Ryan), Michael (Jessica), Christopher (Tanya), Andrew (Michelle), Stacey, Vanessa (Fil) and Elisha (Rick). Proud great-grandmother to all her great-grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sisters Natalia and Fernanda, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Maria is reunited with her husband Manuel (2002). Visitation will take place at the Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 12 – 2:30 p.m. with a few words spoken at 2 p.m. Burial at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Maria’s memory to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by her family.
