Marie Davis

It is with great sadness, the family announces that Marie passed away peacefully with her family by her side, after a 12 year battle with cancer on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the age of 65. Loving wife of 44 years to Kevin. Beloved mother to Lesley-Anne Davis (Andrew MacDonald) and Nicole Davis (James Wilson). Adored grandma to Jaime-Lynn Davis, and cherished daughter of Marie Warren. Predeceased by her sister Carol and her father Edgar. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Robert Warren (Renate), sister Janet Elliott, niece Shayna Elliott and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Marie was a former student of Galt Collegiate Institute and Vocational School in Cambridge. She was an Accounting Administrator at the Canada Permanent Trust Company for 12 years. Member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Cambridge, where her artistic talent can be seen in the key statues she lovingly restored for the church. Devoted member of the Miraculous Medal Society.

Visitation will be held at the T. Little Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 6 - 8 pm. Cremation will follow and a Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Parish Church, 53 Wellington Street, Cambridge on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11 am. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Medical Daycare Clinic at Cambridge Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by her family.
