It's taken me a few days to come up with exactly what I wanted to say about Aunt Marie.  There are so many wonderful memories of her and her delightful joy of life.  

The last few times we spoke on the phone, I remember having pains in my side from laughing with her.  She was such a treasure.  I will miss her exuberance.   I will miss her unique humour.  I will miss her smile.  I will miss our phone calls.  Her chats about growing up on the farm.  Her memories of her siblings and all the great stories.

Thank you dear dear Aunt Marie.  For being so terrific, so memorable, so blasted funny.  Love you.

To Jane and Bob and all the gang,
It has saddened me so much to hear about Aunt Marie’s passing. She will be missed for sure. My fondest memories were the times that I had spent a couple of weeks over a few summer at their place. . I can remember her baking different fruit pies in the summer and they were to die for. A few years ago - cousin Jean and I went in to visit Aunt Marie and take her out for lunch. It was such a very memorable time, and we had so much fun just chatting about everything you could imagine . RIP Aunt Marie- we all love you xo

Aunt Marie was a lovely, wonderful lady.  What a warm personality she had.  We could always count on a smile and that signature Aunt Marie giggle.  Especially when her adoring sisters were around.  There was often mischief afoot.  
I’d forgotten we were both Great Grandma’s namesake, carrying on the Regina name.  It’s an honour to have that connection.  
Jane, Bob and the extended Warren family, I’m so sorry you’ve lost Marie.  I’m in the north on a work contract and can’t attend the service, but will be there in spirit.  My love and blessings to all of you.  
Rest in peace, Aunt Marie.  

For any who may remember! I've still got the sweater she and Uncle Eg (g+) gave me for Christmas in 1965 when they were kind enough to invite me into their home to live with them for a short time (I only wear it on special occasions now!). I have many memories of her and her family and "our" families in happy times growing up. (I'm only 3 score and 13 now!) She is the last of my mother's "gang", the end of an era. She has lost loved ones and she now has the chance to be re-united. God Bless Her. She is part of my olden memories as I hope I can become part of other memories in the gang that follows.
This short prayer reminds me of her and helps me focus on the importance of friends and family:
Dear Lord,
Give me a few friends
who will love me for what I am,
and keep ever burning
before my vagrant steps
the kindly light of hope...
And though I come not within sight
of the castle of my dreams,
teach me to be thankful for life,
and for time's olden memories
that are good and sweet.
And may the evening's twilight
find me gentle still.

Like her sisters before her, Aunt Marie’s laughter and wit will be missed.   Fond memories of family gatherings long passed will always be remembered with a smile.  Rest peacefully Aunt Marie.

Dear Jane, Bob and family,
So sad to hear the news about Aunt Marie, she will be missed....
So many childhood memories of the family weekends spent together...the 'adults' going to the Newfy Dances while Jane & I spent so many hours building forts, playing barbies, (and dress-up, where we always tried to be the one to get Aunt Marie's crinoline! (made us feel so 'beautiful' - what a pair!).  Family picnics - never knew what was going to happen!
There was always lots of love and laughter, so many happy times.
