Mario Buffone

Cherished Father to Mary (Herbert) Bauman, Dalida (Glenn) Davidson and Dan (Susie) Buffone. Proud Nonno to Rachel (Craig), Bryan (Olga), Kyle, Jordan (Izabella) and Isabella. Great grandfather to Emma, Jace, Parker and Ellie.

Mario was predeceased by his beloved wife Ida (Caicco), parents Eugenio and Francesca, brother Gino (Giuseppina), brother Antonio (Rosina) and nephews Patrizio and Eugenio. Mario leaves behind his sister Carmela (Pasquale), half sisters Ida (John deceased), Assunta (Antonio), Silvana (Santo) and sister-in-law Elsa (Mario deceased) as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to Ellen, for the dedicated care and friendship she provided to him.

Mario was known for his warm sense of humour, his pride in his work as a welder at Eastern Steel, and his time serving in the Italian Navy. He was deeply loved and will be remembered always.

Visitation for Mario will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street. A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, September 11th at 11:00 AM at St. Ambrose Church, 210 South Street. Entombment to follow at 1:00 PM at Marymount Cemetery, 5400 Highway 6, Guelph.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to either the Alzheimer Society of Canada, or to the Cambridge Humane Society.
