Marion Joyce Meeker

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family and

her dog Pumpkin on Saturday, October 17, 2015 in

her 87th year. Loving mother of Debbie Mortimer

and husband Delroy of Bahamas, Shannon

Treadwell and her husband Guy of Cambridge, Kim

Meeker and her partner Seana Moorhead of Walter

Falls; missed by her grandchildren, Dax, Deanna,

Tyler, Teagan, Kaileigh, Ayla, Jillian and Zenen,

and great-grandchildren, Jaidyn and Azaray. Also

survived by brother, Ron Lusher (Barb) of

Mississauga; sister, Una Popplow (Homer) of Mono

Mills and her son-in-law, Larry Walters.

Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Dorothy

Lusher; daughter, Wendy Walters; brother, Harold.

Joyce was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on

December 9, 1928.

Cremation has taken place. As expressons of

sympathy, donations to Canadian Cancer Society

or Cardiac Care Centre at SMGH Kitchener.

Celebration for the Life of Joyce Meeker will be on

Sunday October 25th at the Army Navy Air Force

Veterans Club from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., upstairs at
