Born in Sunderland Tyne & Wear England. Beloved husband for 51 years of Anne (nee Turnbull). Dearest Dad of Sarah (Rob) Dikaitis and Stuart (Lisa) Parker. Loved Papa of Emily and Abbey Dikaitis Sullivan, Rachel, and Liam Parker. Dear brother of Sheila (Jack) Bonney (England) and dear brother-in-law of Brenda Gorman (Cambridge). Survived by nieces and nephews in Canada and England. Predeceased by his parents Matthew and Doris Parker (England). Brothers-in-law Alan Turnbull and John Gorman, sister-in-law Rosemary Turnbull (Cambridge). In keeping with Matt’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. D. Schwartz and nurses at Freeport Palliative Care Unit 3, Kitchener for the wonderful care Matt received.
