We would like to celebrate the life of MAUREEN, who peacefully passed away on April 18, 2013. Beloved wife of Don Folliott and dearest mother of Christopher John. Predeceased by her loving daughter Lynda Maureen, her parents Pat and Mabel Gardiner and her eight Schultz Aunts! Survived by her sister Patricia Wagner and two nephews Peter and Tony. Maureen was born at the Galt Hospital. She attended Manchester School and Galt Collegiate Institute and Vocational School, where she was an honour student and colonel of the Girls’ Cadet Corp. She went on to Hamilton Normal School and as a primary teacher, she taught at St. Andrews and Highland Public Schools. Maureen was a long time member of the Galt Country Club, where she was president of the ladies golf and curling sections. As a true leader, she was also the ladies Club Captain. Maureen was laid to rest, beside her daughter Lynda, at Mount View Cemetery. A private Celebration of Life will be held at Stirling Heights Long Term Care. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Society will make a lasting memory. Chris and Don want, with heartfelt love, to thank the Staff of Stirling Heights for the loving care and kindness in looking after Maureen.
