Patrick Ralph Conway

With sadness and heavy hearts the family of Patrick Conway announce his passing on July 20, 2016 at the age of 78. Loving and devoted husband of Mary, devoted and supportive father of Tom, Jason, Nanci (Wahab), and Jackie (Jamie). Brother to Cecelia (Fred d.) Wyatt, and Leonard (Dan). Special uncle to Jackie Porpealia (Ray) and Sandra Lamming. Adoring grandfather to Sara, Brittany, Courtney, Danielle, Zach, Chelsi, Gage, Chantel, and Amber. Great grandfather to Jordyn, Rilee, Isaac and Charlie. Brother in law to Joyce (Foreman), Rose Houghton (Wayne), Louise Hicks (John), Joyce Nunn (Shawn) and Ann Nunn (Gary). Special cousin to Carol Clemmer and Bill Thuot. Predeceased by son Miles (1971), Michael (2013), sisters and brothers Anna Becker, Pearl Campbell, Ray Conway, Jim (Laura) Luella Burns, Mamie Leham, Jerold, Faye Myers (Eric) and Fenelda Lamming. Patrick had a flare and great like for woodworking and carpentry and he knew good quality when he saw it! His passion and love of life was infectious and the joy he got from making people smile will surely be remembered from countless shared life experiences and jokes told. His sense of humour will remain in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. At the request of Patrick, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation made in Patrick’s name would be greatly appreciated.
