

Quintino Corvaglia, of Cambridge, Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on October 14th, 2023, at the age of 89. Loving husband of Maria of 61 years, father to Valerie (Carlo), Ornell (Charlie), and Melina (Fabien). Doting grandfather to Amanda, Daniela, Elyssa, Quintin, Chloé, and Amélie who will cherish their memories of him forever. He is also survived by brothers, Antonio, Giuseppe (Antonia), and Sebastian, and sister, Maria Luisa (Genuino), and many nieces and nephews both in Canada and Italy; and sisters-in-law Alba, and Rita. He is predeceased by his parents, Rocco and Assunta, sister Ippazia (Oronzo), twin brother, Marino, brother Salvatore, and sisters-in-law Ada and Betty. Born in Racale, Lecce, Italy, he immigrated to Canada in 1954 aboard "The Homeland". He met and married the love of his life, Maria, in 1962 before raising their family in Cambridge. “Dino” loved his 32 years spent working at Babcock & Wilcox. His energy, storytelling, humour and vibrant personality made everyone laugh till they cried, and he will be missed by all who knew him. He loved working in his garden, but above all he loved spending time with his family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff that cared for him so well throughout his cancer journey, particularly the palliative care team, Nurse Christina and Dr. Sandor, Dr. Hahn, Dr. Koke, Dr. Halligan, and Dr. Shahi. Visitation will be at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street on Thursday, October 19th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Parish prayers will be at 6:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ambrose Parish, 210 South Street on Friday, October 20th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery. The family welcomes donations to Cambridge Memorial Hospital Palliative Care, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
