Robert Stanley Lyle

He is predeceased by and together again with his beloved wife Joyce (1990) and son Michael (2007). Loving father to Roger and Robert (Signe) and father-in-law to Donna (Brad). Proud Grandad to Krista (Clint), Jennifer (Rob), Zacharye, Mikaila (Matt) and Great-Grandad to Sophie and Brody. Robert will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Born in London, England, Robert immigrated to Canada on October 10, 1956 where his wife and children would join him soon after. He was a proud member of Dad’s Army – The Paschal Lambs as well as The Palestine Police Force. He was a longtime employee of Mimik Ltd., formerly Magor Aviation as well as Babcock and Wilcox Canada. Robert loved gardening and time spent with his family. Those that knew Robert will remember his whistling, quick wit and sometimes blunt critique – although still loved by all.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service has been held.

As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Robert’s memory.
