Beloved wife of the late Leonard Mills and loving mother to the late Kathy (Tom) Thirtle, passed away peacefully on December 28th in her 86th year. Ruth will be dearly missed by her sons Jim (Dzeneta) Mills and Scott (Minna) Mills as well as her brothers Ralph (Gina) Scheffel, Norm (Mary) Scheffel and sister Eleanor (Martin) Hillyer. Nana will also be missed by her grandchildren Lisa (Shawn) Voakes, Aaron (Morgan) Thirtle, Dawn Mills, Lyndsay Mills, Cameron Mills, Rachel Mills and Amela (Gavin) Deljkovic as well as several great-grandchildren. Ruth was well known for her kindness, generous spirit and devotion to her faith, family and friends. Visitation will be held at T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 4 - 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 63 Grand Avenue North, Cambridge on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s Church or the charity of your choice.
