Shirley is now reunited with her beloved husband, Avery (2024), and her cherished son, Steven (2019).
Loving mother to Charlie (Luis) Diniz, and Lori Ellice. Proud grandmother to Nicholas, Ryan, and Luke, and stepmother to Janet Haskins, Steven Best, and Kenny Best. Dear sister of Ron (Barb) Goebel and Karen (Don) Stroud.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Nelda Goebel, and her sister, Joy Arthurs.
Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and especially by her beloved cat, Dusty.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at People Care Hilltop Manor for their exceptional care and kindness.
In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital – Trees of Caring, or the Cambridge & District Humane Society.
