Tom was a loving, kind, caring, selfless and generous man who always thought of his family first. Loved endlessly by wife and soulmate Dolores (Flanagan) Langsford whom he married January 1, 1956. Devoted and loving father of Noeleen, Heather and David. Very proud and loving poppa to his grandchildren Denyse, Erin, Tianna, Alex, Daniel, Jessica and Thomas, great-grandchildren Logan, Aaron and Silas and great-great-granddaughter Ryann. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and extended family in Ireland. Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Gertrude (Burch) Langsford, siblings Gertrude, Madge, Nellie, Samuel, William, Ivor and Ruth and his honorary uncle Dab who resided with the Langsford family while Tom and his siblings grew up.
Tom will be remembered for his love of dancing, music, singing, playing the organ, and watching sports.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews Street Cambridge, Ontario N1S 1M8. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lung Association, ALS Society of Canada and Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
