Passed away peacefully with family by her side at St. Peter’s Hospital Hamilton, Ontario in her 62nd year. Everyone who witnessed Ginny’s courage during her fight against cancer were amazed by her strength and determination. Beloved wife of Douglas, and loving mother of Matthew (Rebekka), Sarah Durocher (Matthew), Jessica. Loving grandmother of Logan, Mia and Henry. Also survived by her father Arnold Black, brothers Richard and Gregory, sisters Sheila (George), Linda (Bill), Katherine (Norman), Janis (David), Brenda (Ron), Wendy (Scott), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother Phyllis Black. Virginia was born on August 24, 1950 in Brantford and has lived in Cambridge for the past 22 yrs. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Tuesday April 10, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 P. M. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 3 P. M. Interment St. George Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation MRI fund would be appreciated by the family.
