Born on January 19, 1934, in Vreeland, the Netherlands, Bill lived a long and meaningful life defined by his love for family, a strong work ethic, and quiet wisdom. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and nothing brought him greater pride than spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Bill was known for his kind heart, gentle nature, and steady presence—always someone others could rely on. He enjoyed gardening and DIY projects and found joy in life’s simple moments.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Anne; his children Anne (Don), David, Scott, Sue, and Marc; his grandchildren Kristen, Sara, Alycia, Matthew, Heather, Carrie, Brandon and Erin; and his several great-grandchildren. He will also be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends whose lives he touched.
An intimate family service will take place later in the new year.
