It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce William’s unexpected passing on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the age of 33. Beloved and chosen son to David McLean. Grandson to Rita McLean “Buba”, brother to Trevor Luchuk and Cody Villeneuve, very proud uncle to Owen and dear nephew to Carrie McLean, Barb McLean and family. William will also be forever remembered by his birth family – his mother Jennifer Hogan, his father Ronald Childs, his brother Ronald Hogan, uncle Rob Hogan and Timmy, Shawn and family. William will be dearly missed by his extended family, friends and neighbours especially his closest friend Brett Jarvis.
Will was a kind and gentle soul, who loved nature and the outdoors as well as his video games. He loved so much to spend time with our dogs and his favourite cat, Boots who seemed to like no one but Will. His absence has left a hole in our hearts and our home that I know he will want us to fill with memories and so good luck Will on the next leg of your journey. You are forever loved and will be missed.
Friends and family will be received for a Celebration of Will's life on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 6 - 9 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650).
