Beloved husband of the late Jean Cleminson. Loving father to Lisa (Ian) Parker of Calgary, AB, Paul Cleminson (Donna McIntyre) of Cambridge, ON and Vibert Allen of Los Angeles, CA. Proud grandpa to Kevin, Jack and Eric Parker all of Calgary, AB. Brother to Barbara Henderson of Ajax, ON and brother-in-law to Helen Badder of Windsor, Judy Holland of London and Ruth Armour of Brampton ON. Bill will be missed and lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews in Southern Ontario along with several cousins in the Windsor area and many devoted friends.
Bill spent the majority of his working career at Conestoga College in various positions, the last as Dean of Student Services. Just prior to retirement, Bill and Jean spent three years working in the U.A.E. where Bill was the Head of the Girl’s College in Al Ain. During this time they explored several countries but their favourite place to be was their second home in Port Charlotte, Florida during their snowbird years where they developed lifelong friendships. Bill’s kindness, caring and playful sense of humour will be remembered by all who knew him. Once again, heartfelt thanks to the tremendous staff of Stirling Heights for their compassion and exceptional care.
In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 29, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Butterfly Conservatory, 2500 Kossuth Road, Cambridge, cambridgebutterfly.com (casual dress and no formal program).
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer Society in Bill's memory would be greatly
appreciated.
