Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in his 76th year. Cherished husband to Sarah Elizabeth Witherspoon (nee Kitson). Beloved father of Carole Van Der Voort and her husband Simon, Stephen Witherspoon, Janeen Witherspoon and her husband Daniel Cove. Loving grandfather of Victoria and Jonathan Van Der Voort. Also survived by his sisters Margaret Steward (David), Mona O’Hara (James) and Patricia Wineberg (Earl). Predeceased by his three brothers: John, Jim and Tommy Witherspoon all of Larne, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland

As per our Father’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation of funeral. Relatives and friends are invited to join us in the celebration of our Father’s life at his Wake, being held at the Black Badger , 55 Water St. N. Cambridge, N1K 3B1 from 4p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2015.
